Kurdish hunger striker in Toronto visited by mothers

A group of Kurdish mothers met with Yusuf Iba, a Kurdish activist who is on hunger striker in Toronto to protest Ocalan’s isolation.

Yusuf Iba is on the 26th day of his hunger strike in Toronto, Canada, to demand the removal of the isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan. A group of Kurdish mothers have visited Iba to express their support.

On an indefinite and non-alternating hunger strike at the Kurdish Center in Toronto, Yusuf Iba possesses a high spirit. Hundreds of Kurdish people in Canada visit him every day. The most recent visit was paid by a group of mothers from North Kurdistan. The mothers spoke to Iba, sang for him, and stated that they will continue to support his action.
