Representatives from Eastern Kurdistan and Iranian institutions visited the hunger strikers coming from Germany and other cities of France.
Hunger strikers in Strasbourg have reached day 85 of their fast demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Visitors are coming to Strasbourg from every part of Europe to express their solidarity and support to the hunger strikers.
Representatives from Eastern Kurdistan and Iranian institutions visited the hunger strikers coming from Germany and other cities of France. Among the visiters were Bijan Renumber from the Iranian Peoples Democratic Movement Platform, Ramin Zindi from Zagros Platform and PJAK Germany representatives.
Ramin Zindi stressed that they had come to Strasbourg to support all hunger strikers and commended HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven who led the action.
Hunger striker Kardo Bokani said that it is very important for activists to receive support from visitors.
Bokani reminded that because of the resistance a short visit was granted to Öcalan’s brother and added that the action will continue until isolation is completely lifted.
Bokani also called on people to spread what is in fact a common struggle.
Speaking in Farsi on behalf of the Iranian Peoples Democratic Movement Platform, Bijan Rencber underlined that Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan was an important figure for the peoples.
Rencber added that is necessary to free Öcalan.
