Protest against the silence of the BBC on the hunger strike actions demanding the end of isolation of Öcalan.
A demonstration was organised in front of the main BBC building in London, capital of the UK, to call attention to the indefinite and non-alternating hunger strike actions that demand the end of isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı island prison.
The crowd carried posters of Öcalan, PKK flags and a huge poster of DTK Co-chair and HDP MP Leyla Güven whose fast against isolation has entered day 140.
Speeches protested the BBC’s silence on hunger strikes and called for further sensitivity by the European public opinion.
Following the demonstration which lasted two hours, the crowd marched to the Oxford Circus station where they closed the main road for traffic and staged a sit-in.
